As you can see from my family history web site, I have had a few years experience at researching GRO Indexes, Censuses and Parish Records.

I am now in a position to be able to offer look ups at Warwickshire County Record office. A list of available records at Warwickshire County Records Office is shown here.

My charges are very competitive at £4.50 for the first half hour and £3.25 for each half hour thereafter, including postage. These charges apply to all research with the exception of the 1881 and 1901 censuses (done at home), details for which can be found below. For this you will get look ups and hand written/typed copies of entries. If you require photocopies of the originals or fiche/film, these can be obtained and will be charged at cost. This is usually between £1.50 and £2.50 each copy, depending on source material, details will be supplied with search results.

For the 1881 census, the charge is £2 per surname/household. No address searches are available. For this you will get a printout of either the household or a list of possibles, depending on how much information you have been able to supply, and the number of names this produces on the search. This search is done from the IGI indexing and not the PRO indexing.

For the 1901 census, the charge is £2 per surname/household. For this you will get a printed list of possibles. If you require household details for an individual these are best done from the census image and are available at a cost of £0.75 each (plus the £2 search fee), you will receive a printed A4 copy. Address searches are available at a cost of £2.75, for which you will automatically receive a census image printout.

Also available are searches on the 1851 Staffordshire census, which I have at home. There is no name index, so searches are restricted to small towns, villages and areas of larger towns. Prices per hour as above.

Payment can be made via Nochex for debit card payments in the UK, Paypal for Debit/Credit Card payments Worldwide (please add 10% to help cover extortionate expenses), cheque drawn on a UK bank, Pound Sterling postal orders, or Pound Sterling cash (by registered post only).
